Enjoying an evening out in Wayfarer's Inn, a small group of the Keep members gathered up to take a rest from various things like battling on the front or fighting in general. They chatted with friends with little worry or care.
As it happened, however, the Society of the True Life decided to be very aggressive. They sent one of their top representatives into Wayfarer's, of whom strode right in and calmly told them that if one of them didn't give themselves in for capture, he would reveal all of their true natures right in the middle of the city. Since San'layn are to be killed on sight, there was nothing that could be done--Rexton stood up and went with the fellow.
Moving far too fast for anyone to stop them, this Kingdom representative, known as Asani, took Rexton to the shorelines where they waited for Society ships to pick the lot of them up. The plans had been to torture Rexton until the ships arrived with Rook, and then they would proceed to lock him away and torture information out him as to how to get into the Keep.
The Society did not expect the bar-goers to actually follow, for they had a HUGE army and outnumbered them. Against all odds, however, with supreme acting skills, baiting, and battle, the group manage to free the captive by snatching him away and running. Someone not even a part of the Keep yet, a tauren monk, went out of his way to aid these outcasts, which surprised them since many outsiders consider them monsters.
Another outsider, a blood elf rogue, managed to heavily damage Asani. He later died of his wounds, unable to get proper healing. The Society is extremely outraged that this plan did not work out. This could have ended up much, much worse.
The only thing that's certain now, however, is that the Society are getting more aggressive, and the Keep might have to grow much more aggressive to stop this madness.
